If you would like to be considered for any of BAPA's Courses, the first step is to download the 2009 Prospectus. The next stage is to download and send us a completed Application Form. If you have any questions about completing the form, just contact us. When sending your application, you should also send the audition fee of £30.00. Please pass the referee forms to your two referees, together with (stamped and addressed) envelopes for them to send their references to us.
We will then notify you if we wish to invite you to audition. (If we do not invite you to audition, or if you decide not to pursue your application before the audition day, your audition fee will be returned to you.)
For the audition you should bring with you two pieces to sing (ideally, contrasting pieces), together with a copy of the music for the accompanist (or a backing track on tape or CD).
Please prepare two contrasting monologues, one contemporary, one classical. Each one should be no longer than two minutes. You should be prepared to workshop your monologues.
You should have comfortable, loose-fitting clothes and soft-soled shoes, suitable for a dance and acting workshop with other candidates.
